I’m a former teacher with a degree in art and am now a stay-at-home mother of two girls. I recently decided to start my own business as a stallholder of Barefoot Books Montclair, a company that celebrates art, story, diversity and the love of reading. I have also been inspired by Barefoot’s idea of “Living Barefoot” and what it means, in the greater sense of everyday life.

As I was perusing My Barefoot profiles, I came across yours with your location as Montclair NJ. So exciting!! I used to live in Summit, NJ and have been in Scotland for 7 years (married here).It was a really nice thought to have someone ‘barefoot’ so close to my old home
